Itinerary

Itinerary

Day 1 : September 14th, 2017 (Thursday) : Moncton – Seattle

Today marks the beginning of our adventure in Alaska, land of incomparable rustic beauty and natural wonders.  Our flight takes us to Seattle early in the morning. Afternoon and evening at leisure.

Day 2 : September 15th, 2017 (Friday) : Seattle, Washington (embarkation)

After breakfast, a guided city tour is included. After, you will be transferred to your cruise ship « Celebrity Solstice ». You’ll have all day to explore the ship. Group dinner in the evening.

Day 3: September 16th, 2017 (Saturday) : At sea

This day is yours to do as much or as little as you like. Experience the pools, spas and more onboard your ship.

Day 4: September 17th, 2017 (Sunday) : Ketchikan, Alaska

You’ve never tasted salmon so fresh. Known as the ‘Salmon Capital of the World’, Ketchikan is also the ancestral home of the Tlingit people, who have carved the world’s largest collection of totem poles. If you’re up for an adventure, take a canoe and nature trail excursion through the rain forest or a wilderness exploration followed by a sumptuous crab feast you can’t resist.

Day 5: September 18th, 2017 (Monday) : Tracy Arm Fjord & Juneau, Alaska

TRACY ARM FJORD: Book-ended by two of Alaska’s most dramatic glaciers, the North and South Sawyer, and surrounded by granite walls that rise 3,000 feet from the emerald colored seas, this area has everything you’ve come to Alaska to experience.

JUNEAU: Here’s your chance to take a glacial dogsled adventure via helicopter in Alaska’s capital. A city that gracefully balances frontier ruggedness with cosmopolitan flair. Mendenhall Glacier, a river of ice measuring 1.5 miles in width and over 6 miles in length, is part of Juneau’s Icefield, 1500 square miles of ice that feeds 38 glaciers and ready for you to take a float trip on it.

Day 6: September 19th, 2017 (Tuesday) : Skagway & Inside passage, Alaska

SKAGWAY: The great Klondike Gold Rush lives on in Skagway’s charming downtown of restored 19th-century buildings and its historic railway. From the vintage train, admire the mountains and see the 1898 trail that fortune seekers traveled on foot. The White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad runs vintage locomotives past the famously steep Chilkoot Trail and offers sweeping mountain views during its climb toward Canada

ALASKA INSIDE PASSAGE: You’ll sail beyond the Inside Passage into the more protected Alaska Inside Passage, a complex labyrinth of fjords and bays where whales and sea lions find refuge during the summer months.

Day 7 : September 20th, 2017 (Wednesday) : At sea

This day is yours to do as much or as little as you like. Experience the pools, spas and more onboard your ship.

Day 8: September 21th, 2017 (Thursday) : Victoria, British Columbia

The capital of British Columbia is also its largest island. This one-time British colony has retained much of its colonial splendor. Victoria is a seaside enclave that enjoys a temperate climate. Which is great, because you’ll want to explore all the museums, parks and golf courses Victoria has to offer.

Day 9: September 22nd, 2017 (Friday): Vancouver, British Columbia

Disembarkation from the ship. A private motor coach will bring us for a guided city tour of Vancouver including Stanley park, Gastown and Chinatown. Following this tour, check in at the hotel. Afternoon and evening at leisure.

Day 10: September 23rd, 2017 (Saturday): Vancouver, British Columbia

Possible guided visit to Whistler in the morning. Afternoon at leisure, and farewell group dinner.

Day 11: September 24th, 2017 (Sunday): Vancouver, British Columbia

All good things must come to an end. Here we are at the end of our trip. A transfer from our hotel towards the airport to board our flight towards Moncton.
